Let our poems be with you on the path of life, giving you comfort and ideas as you go.
From being born in Lorain to starting writing poetry in elementary school.
Carolyn Cozart wrote it for friends and family at different times. She graduated from Lorain’s Southview High School in 1984. She played marching and concert bands in high school. Her hobbies are painting, crocheting, and jewelry-making. She worked in banking for years before joining the Lorain County Courts. Since 1998, she has worked for the Lorain County Probate Court. Her kids are Rob, Tiffany, Andrew, and Sharon. After miscarrying in 1991, she constantly thought about the child she lost. The poem “Her Precious Little Saint” helped her through those difficult days. She married twice, in 1984 and 2007. She applied to the Ohio Secretary of State to perform marriages as a minister in 2015.
A book, filled with touching poems that capture the essence of love, life lessons, and special events.
Every poem provides a window into the author’s feelings and life, whether they are emotional observations of relationships or happy recollections of previous days. These poems explore the depths of human connection with themes of love, marriage, family, and desire. Poets like these use spare yet expressive language to look into the complexities of the human heart and perhaps find something that speaks to their own experiences. Poetry has always had the ability to shed light on life’s complexities and wonders, and this collection of poems is proof of that.
